The game

Hunt, catch, collect

A fantasy card game for three to six mages. Cast spells that share an element with the table, hex your rivals, keep an eye on the beast and be the first to empty your hand. The beast is yours.

Race to an empty hand

Lay a spell that shares an element with the one on the table. Empty your hand first, hold on, and the beast is yours.

Six elements

Fire, wind, sun, water, shadow and venom. Every spell carries one or more, and your own element charges your Surge.

120 beasts to catch

Every win puts a beast in your bestiary. Hunt the rare ones, sell your spares to the Beast Trader.

How to play

Learn it in one hunt

Match an element
Play a spell that shares an element with the spell on the table, or draw.
Keep the volley going
The element you cast through holds for your whole volley. While it is your turn, add spells that carry it. Spells of your own element charge your medallion, Harmony and Resonance faster. Full, it fires a Surge and an opponent draws a card.
Hex your rivals
Nine hexes. A Curse makes the next mage draw 2, Shackles cost them a turn, Wild magic makes everyone else draw 1. Pass one on with the same hex, or answer it with a Surge.
Mind the beast
Only spells of its element enrage it. Whoever fills its rage sets off its strike at the end of their turn.
Call “It’s mine!”
Down to one card? Call it, empty your hand, hold on until your next turn, and the beast is yours.
